Matt Tedore
Lead Designer
Matthew T. Tedore, 53, of Verona, Wisconsin, formerly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away on April 28, 2026. Born on May 14, 1972, Matt was a compassionate soul, a sharp dresser, an avid packer’s fan, a talented artist, designer, and painter whose vibrant spirit touched everyone he encountered.
Matt's artistic journey began early in life from his early childhood drawings of many cowboys and Indians. When he was young his concentration came from his tongue sticking out of his mouth while drawing. He attended Blessed Sacrament grade school, where his creativity shone through as he designed the school mascot painting, proudly displayed near the lunchroom entrance. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1990 and further honed his artistic skills at Hawkeye Community College, where he studied graphic art design. His career led him to work at various sign design and art studios across Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, culminating in his recent position at Sign Art Studio in Mount Horeb. One of Matts great accomplishments was being the lead designer for the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame at Lambo Field.
A son, brother, and uncle, Matt was known for lighting up any room with his infectious laughter and zest for life. He lived unapologetically and inspired those around him to embrace life fully. His artwork, celebrated and sold across the United States, will serve as a lasting testament to his creativity and passion.
Matt is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Jane Tedore of Jesup, Iowa; his two sisters, Molly Schultz (Scott Merril) of Albia, Iowa, and Melissa Thoma (Mark) of Jesup, Iowa; two nieces, Abbi Schultz of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Memphis Thoma of Jesup, Iowa; two nephews, Alex Schultz of Knoxville, Iowa, and Hunter Thoma of Jesup, Iowa; and a very special friend, Melissa Noto of New Jersey. Matts artistic spirt will also be missed by many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.
